The Importance of Our ASAPS 2013 Alliance Partnership

As the Aesthetic Meeting 2013 begins, our CEO Keith Humes has also announced that Rosemont Media is renewing the Alliance Partnership with the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). He says he is excited to continue supporting The Aesthetic Society on its mission to maximize the inherent potential in a joint venture between ASAPS and corporate sponsors because Rosemont Media remains committed to improving the online existence of plastic surgeons worldwide.

Goals of Alliance Partnership with ASAPS

Humes is proud to have been a part of the Aesthetic Meeting since 1999. With the creation of the Partnership program, Humes has enjoyed helping the Aesthetic Society improve the relationship between plastic surgery and the private sector. As a partner, Humes says the agency is able to help ASAPS maintain its position as the most influential organization in aesthetic surgery education. This goal is aligned with the agency’s commitment to educating plastic surgeons and their teams on the finer aspects of online medical marketing such as SEO, social media for plastic surgeons and beyond. Ultimately, Humes stresses the importance of not only preparing for innovation in the operating room, but the outside world as well.

“We strive to keep our plastic surgeons at the forefront of the Internet insofar as it affects their practice. With all the noise developed by the next big thing, whether it be responsive website design or a new social network, our job is to sift through all of it and make sure our clients are taking advantage of the appropriate and necessary advancements, instead of getting lost in the hype.

“We leave the latest advancements in aesthetic surgery technique to our surgeons, focusing instead on how to help them use the latest marketing tools to reach more patients and protect their online reputation.”

The Mission of ASAPS Corporate Support Program

The goal of the partnership program according to the ASAPS website is to form a transparent and collaborative relationship that proves mutually beneficial for both the Aesthetic Society and its corporate sponsors: “By working together, both the Aesthetic Society and industry can synergistically serve and communicate regarding plastic surgery, its practitioners, and patients.”

Humes says the success of this partnership, as well as ASAPS’ goal of supporting education and research in partnership with the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF), can be seen the moment one enters the annual Aesthetic Meeting, or any other plastic surgery meeting.

“The buzz an ASAPS meeting creates is unparalleled. I still get excited walking into the convention center on the first day of the Aesthetic Meeting. We see a lot of the leading minds in plastic surgery throughout the year at various events (another testament to the success of the organization’s mission), but they all come together at this one meeting. It’s humbling to think about the collective intelligence in the room, as well as the impact the surgeons have had on countless patients’ lives over the years.”
