Dr. Schallhorn and Rosemont Media Launch New LASIK Website
Schallhorn Vision, a laser vision correction center in San Diego, CA, focuses on enhancing vision conditions such as nearsightedness, astigmatisms, farsightedness and presbyopia. Dr. Steve Schallhorn has over 20 years of experience in laser vision correction procedures including service to emergency first responders, pilots, and civilians. He and his San Diego LASIK practice, Schallhorn Vision, are announcing the release of a new website to offer interactive and specialized information that enhances their patients’ online browsing.
Located in La Jolla, Schallhorn Vision is dedicated to utilizing the latest LASIK and PRK laser vision correction technology. The practice’s use of cutting edge technology such as Femtosecond Blade-Free LASIK, and custom mapping systems, which provides the greatest chance for vision correction and improvement. With this in mind, Dr. Steve Schallhorn is announcing the launch of a new website for Schallhorn Vision in order to create a comprehensive online experience focused on improving patient care and providing detailed information on treatment.
The new website offers descriptions on procedures, details on candidate qualifications for treatment, and patient stories explaining how specific treatments have worked to improve their vision. Developed in partnership with Rosemont Media, a San Diego LASIK website design firm, Schallhorn Vision hopes the new site will strengthen bonds between practice and patient through an online experience geared towards informed and cooperative interaction.
Dr. Schallhorn adds that including social media buttons to quickly connect patients to their online communities was an integral part of the design process. He says he hopes that utilization of social networking and online enhancement will provide patients with a better education about exactly what vision correction procedures can do for them.
About Dr. Schallhorn
Dr. Steve Schallhorn graduated from the University of Uniformed Services. He was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1995, and served as the Director of Cornea Service and Refractive Surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Schallhorn was awarded the Navy Legion of Merit, the highest non-combative medal in the military, for his work in refractive surgery. He has also served as a NASA and military flight pilot consultant for refractive surgery and visual correction.
