About Dr. Adam H. Hamawy

Dr. Adam Hamawy received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After completing his general surgery training at Cornell University – New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, he entered active military service and was deployed to Iraq where he served as a combat trauma surgeon. Following his tour of duty, Dr. Hamawy completed his Plastic Surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is board-certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
