Marketing New Plastic Surgery Technology with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Being on the forefront as the first in your market to offer new emerging technology can be very exciting. I am often approached by practices about how to best implement marketing strategies to capitalize and gain a competitive advantage over local area practices. My answer to them is always the same: Be first in the market on the Internet.

This is because the Internet offers an arena for consumers to validate what they have heard or read about a particular procedure/technology. If your practice is offering a new procedure (or new approach to an old procedure), it would be a good idea to utilize a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy to garner placement under related search terms. Generally the newer procedure, the less search competition which means increased likliehood of landing top placement. Like any new technology, the key to capitlizing is anticpating the draw for consumers. If you have a new procedure to promote, my advice is that you make an investment to create and optimize a dedicated website page to the new technology. Like the old adage goes…”The early bird gets the worm.”
