Keith Humes Discusses Mobile Website Design at Rosemont Media

Rosemont Media is the modern version of the traditional advertising agency, specializing in dental and plastic surgery marketing and website design. In an effort to improve the online user’s experience as mobile usage explodes, CEO Keith Humes is announcing the launch of the firm’s mobile website, and expanded capabilities in mobile website design for plastic surgeons and cosmetic dentists.

As the modern ad agency, Rosemont Media specializes in custom plastic surgery and dental website design, supported by online advertising. 13-year search engine marketing veteran and CEO Keith Humes is announcing the launch of the mobile version of the Rosemont Media site, as well as expanded design capabilities for mobile versions of their plastic surgery and cosmetic dentistry websites.

Currently, more than 72.5 million mobile users access the internet through smartphones [1]. This number is expected to increase exponentially by 2015, with a similar increase in mobile ad spend over the next three years to over $3 billion annually [2]. While these statistics alone should be enough to convince even the casual internet user the mobile revolution is here, Humes says this is only a portion of his motivation for developing a mobile version of Rosemont Media’s website. “Ultimately, we focus on the user as we help our clients break into the mobile market: the goal is to simplify the user experience while seamlessly integrating the entire website into the mobile version.”

The goal is one-handed functionality, according to Rosemont Media Web Development Manager Matt Grimes: “The mobile user experience is greatly enhanced because exploring the website on a mobile device no longer requires users pinch, zoom, scroll, or double tap to navigate the site.” Grimes adds optimal performance across all mobile platforms is a top priority during the development process, in the same way compatibility in all web browsers is for the traditional website.

As Rosemont Media releases the May 2011 issue of the Rosemont Review—a search engine marketing newsletter designed for plastic surgeons and cosmetic dentists—Humes says in addition to the expanding mobile market, social media marketing is a prominent topic in this month’s newsletter, as it was at the ASAPS 2011 tradeshow in Boston. He adds that he expects much of the same at the 2011 AACD meeting in Boston, and is looking forward to staying on top of the latest search engine marketing news through Rosemont Media’s mobile site.
