Rosemont Media Attends Baker Gordon Symposium on Cosmetic Surgery

Rosemont Media attends the 43rd annual  Symposium on Cosmetic Surgery in Miami, Florida. The attendance was down compared to years past; however there was still a good turnout of some of the best plastic surgeons in the world. This meeting is unique in the fact that they televise live surgeries via closed circuit TV. The down economy was a big topic of discussion among established and up-and-coming plastic surgeons. Most were pretty optimistic that the next couple of months would be better. Many said January started relatively slow, but picked up towards the end of the month.

Search Engine Marketing seemed to be at the forefront of everyone’s agenda. The #1 priority for most surgeons was not to start new strategies but to make sure that they were getting the most out of there current website. Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and online media buying focused on their local market seemed to be of most interest. 2009 will be an interesting transition year  for Search Engine Marketing firms and Plastic Surgery practices as the push for Internet placement focuses more on the local market.
