Plastic Surgery 11 is the annual conference for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), scheduled for September 23-27, 2011 in Denver, CO. Rosemont Media CEO Keith Humes will speak at the conference, and offer proven plastic surgery marketing tactics as part of the scheduled instructional courses, which according to ASPS President Dr. Philip C. Haeck includes 77 new courses this year.
As part of the comprehensive list of courses scheduled for ASPS, Humes will focus on plastic surgery marketing and practice enhancement. Humes along with W. Grant Stevens, MD, Candace Crowe, and Ryan Miller will discuss the latest and most effective strategies for attracting new patients, cultivating patient reviews, and enhancing the practice’s and surgeon’s online reputation. He says the course, titled “Getting the Most Out of Your Website,” will directly help attendees establish plastic surgery Internet marketing priorities, refine online advertising strategies, and increase return on investment.
Humes will also be speaking at the annual conference of the Association of Plastic Surgery Assistants (APSA) on September 25, 2011. The APSA is a national organization open to all employees of board certified and board eligible plastic surgeons and holds educational seminars in conjunction with ASPS. According to Humes, the course will help aesthetic healthcare practices quantify the total number of leads and act on converting those leads into new patients. “Understanding and Tracking Your Website Leads” is scheduled for the afternoon session on Sunday, September 25, 2011 beginning at 2:15 pm.
Sarah Dawber will join Humes at the APSA conference on September 25, 2011, and conduct a social media marketing course titled “Social Media Check Up Facebook Best Practices.” In the course scheduled for 2:15 pm, Dawber says she will focus on Facebook basics, and offer tips on how to improve patient interaction in the social network and cultivate new Facebook Likes. “Social media is an incredible tool because it provides practices valuable insight into the needs of their patients, which ultimately has the potential to improve patient care and satisfaction.”
Humes and Dawber both say they are looking forward to the plastic surgery conference because they enjoy interacting with aesthetic healthcare professionals and practitioners. Humes adds that participating in educational courses and panel discussions is an integral part of Rosemont Media’s mission as they strive to inspire their clients to integrate the latest advancements in plastic surgery marketing and medical website design.
